APPLICATION:
Grooved coupling (often called Victaulic coupling or Victaulic Clamp) is used to join pipes when flexibility is needed regarding movement and deflection to the system. It is also used to join pipes in both wet and dry. A grooved coupling, often referred to as a Victaulic coupling or Victaulic clamp, is used to connect pipes when flexibility in movement and deflection is required. It is suitable for both wet and dry systems since it allows for some leeway in the piping configuration. These couplings or clamps are available in both carbon steel and stainless steel.
There are two types of grooved couplings: rigid and flexible. The rigid type provides a solid connection, firmly linking the two shafts and enabling smooth torque transmission throughout the system. In contrast, the flexible type allows for some movement between components, which can result in a loss of torque power during operation. A grooved coupling, often referred to as a Victaulic coupling or Victaulic clamp, is used to connect pipes when flexibility in movement and deflection is required.
