APPLICATION:

Grooved coupling (often referred to as Victaulic coupling or Victaulic Clamp) is used to join pipes when some amount of flexibility is needed regarding movement and deflection to the system. It is also used to join pipes in both wet and dry systems as it provides some flexibility in terms of movement and deflection to the piping system. This Coupling or Clamp is also available in both Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel.

It comes in A grooved coupling, commonly known as a Victaulic coupling or Victaulic clamp, is an essential solution for joining pipes when flexibility in movement and deflection is required. Its versatility makes it suitable for both wet and dry systems, ensuring adaptability to various piping needs. Additionally, these couplings are offered in durable carbon steel and stainless steel, catering to different environmental conditions.

There are two primary types of grooved couplings: rigid and flexible. The rigid type delivers a robust connection between shafts, allowing for smooth torque transmission throughout the system—ideal for demanding applications. On the other hand, the flexible type enables some movement, accommodating shifts and expansions while managing torque transmission effectively. Choose the right coupling to enhance your piping system's performance and reliability.2 types: Rigid & Flexible. The difference between rigid and flexible grooved coupling is that Rigid type provide a rigid connection; the two shafts are firmly connected, and the coupling allows for a smooth transmission of torque throughout the system. Flexible type creates flexible connections, and the components can lose some of the torque power through the interaction.
